Hello. I had this problem too, until today.
On high load my nic (realtek 8169) cut the connection. I've add acpi=off to the /boot/grub/menu.lst at the ende of the kernel line. After rebooting the system i have copy 10 GB and 27 GB to my server without any transmit error.
