Thanks for your bug report. Can you try to reproduce this bug with
Intrepid Ibex final release with all updates? When OK button is greyed
out, it normally means that you forgot something. You should make sure
that the "Address, netmask, gateway and dns" fields contains correct
values. If the problem is still reproducible after installing final
intrepid release, can you also post exactly what you typed in each
fields?
If the settings works until you reboot, this is bug 259214
