Using the latest intrepid it appears to be ok: Wired Connection Add select IPv4 Settings tab Method: Manual [at this point the OK option is greyed out: fairynuff] Add: address 10.40.47.53 netmask 255.255.255.192 Gateway 10.40.47.60 [the OK option is now available] move to DNSservers box start typing the OK box greys out, but is restored once the ip is complete.
