Leann, no news? Actually, I think it's a fairly simple patch! I'm attaching a trial I made, since the driver itself has a very clear structure, but please notice that: - I never wrote a patch to kernel before - I wasn't able to recompile the kernel, so I couldn't test it (actually, some days could pass before I have time to try again)
I don't think you will trust on a non-tested newbie patch, but since I do think the problem is quite easy to solve, I hope at least to have given an idea... (Oh, and yes, the bug is still here in intrepid RC) ** Attachment added: "Untested but quite straightforward patch." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18860427/0001-Fujitsu-Siemens-Amilo-A1650G-is-not-an-Acer-but-it.patch -- acer_wmi is not used by default (on Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A1650G) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248635 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
