Public bug reported:

I upgraded from 6.06 LTS (ubuntu with kubuntu + xubuntu added later) with the
recommended command:
gksu "update-manager -c"

During install, two packages (?) failed and I got a message asking me to
report the problem.

I'd include the log files in full, but that'd be .5MB, 71KB in tar.bz2
format.

My processor is an AMD Athlon Thunderbird 750Hz and I'm sure that it
doesn't support processor frequency changes (if that is what emifreq is
about).

My machine failed to boot afterwards (got as far as busybox) but that
seems to be a grub/menu.lst configuration setting that was wrong... I'll
report that later.
