Hi. To clarify. I originally was able to burn CDs, but depending on whether I
had or had not previously burnt a CD (during the current session) I would get
different speed options. Even though I can no longer burn CDs when using
Ubuntu (has there been changes to the software between the initial report and
now?) the options are the same. First time I attempt to burn a CD I get CD
burn speeds down to x1. On further attempts I get burn speeds down to x18.8
and no lower. I've supplied these in the screenshots and logs file (this hasn't
changed).
What has changed is that I can no longer burn CDs in Ubuntu, but I'm still able
to burn them on either SATA drive in Windows XP.
This may be due to a software update, I have not reported damaged packages
(according to apt-get install -f).
I've supplied the logs to help. The original logs weren't sent as I wasn't
immediately aware of this problem.
Please advise as to what additional information is required and if I need to
take any further action.
Thanks
Kevin.
