What I think is happening is that as I have two drives, Ubuntu is confused as to which one I want to use. Brasero 0.8.1 will work with one drive but not the same one as the nautilus-cd-burner (write to disk) program displays. Brasero does not see the other drive. Please but this bug report on hold or close it (I can always report it as a new bug later). I may raise new bugs on the errors in the dmesg.log later. First I'll try removing one drive at a time and see what happens. Sebastien do I need to reconfigure any software when I do this ? Thanks in advance Kevin.
