Very well--I still think that several of the other bugreports have a bearing on this problem--but--shrug--I will do as asked--If you had read some of my other comments in those other bugs you would know that I intend to download/install the upcoming beta for testing. Also, I commented that it could be a problem with the monitor I am using (Hanns-G 28" wide-screen with a native resolution of 1920x1200) & a unhappy blend of the 8xxx series cards/nVidia driver & usplash.
My beep problem happens about 15% of the time--red/white & green/black lines-30%--displaced progress bars-10% --text-only-40% & a "normal boot" the remaining 5%. So, I have all the problems described in the afore mentioned bugreports. -- [Intrepid] usplash causing bios warnings when not used with quiet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235662 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
