Dean Loros : I reverted your mass duplicate job for bug 243682. Please avoid marking a bug as a duplicate when it is marked as fix released, was targeted, has a lot of duplicates and that does not exactly describe the same bug. Think about all the people who are subscribed to that bug and for who it is now fixed and don't forget that it will in the end make things more confuse. We should avoid false duplicates since it's more harmful than having potential duplicates. The more important is that you keep this bug report updated.
BTW, I have I nvidia 8300 and a lot of people have nvidia cards, but don't have the "beep" problem, so it's probably somewhere else.. Can you install intrepid beta that is due october 2th and give feedback?
