That made me wonder... I thought of making a Greasemonkey script as a demonstration, but I realized that Greasemonkey scripts begin when the page has finished loading, when the page has already stolen focus. Is this intractable? Would it be possible for me to keep the focus-stealing function from activating at all?
(Obviously, that wouldn’t fix the bug... but, it would be good as a way of implementing a quick fix for ourselves to see if we miss the automatic focus.
