Thank you, I appreciate being able to keep all the history for this bug.
I've reworded the title, description, and set the status back to new.

** Summary changed:

- Missing pulseaudio-module-jack files, cannot load module
+ 'apt-get install pulseaudio-module-jack' fails with error

** Description changed:

When I try to load pulseaudio-module-jack modules, I get an error:

  Failure: Module initialization failed

When I look in /usr/lib/pulse-8.0/modules/ there are no jack modules.

- I'm on Ubuntu 16.04.04.
+ So I then tried to install it with `sudo apt install pulseaudio-module-
+ jack` after first running `sudo apt update`. The output gives me this
+ error:
+
+
+ Reading package lists... Done
+ Building dependency tree
+ Reading state information... Done
+ Package pulseaudio-module-jack is not available, but is referred to by
another package.
+ This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
+ is only available from another source
+
+ E: Package 'pulseaudio-module-jack' has no installation candidate

** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => New
