I don't understand what that means?

Seriously? It's all part of the same problem. Is there a good reason
this can't be dealt with in this bug?

For now I was able to install the module using the links you gave me,
but I'm still concerned that was a manual process and I'd like to fix
the bug with me not being able to install it using the normal 'apt'
commands and having to use 'dpkg' instead.

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  When I try to load pulseaudio-module-jack modules, I get an error:

  Failure: Module initialization failed

  When I look in /usr/lib/pulse-8.0/modules/ there are no jack modules.

  I'm on Ubuntu 16.04.04.
