Status in modemmanager package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: modemmanager release: Description: Ubuntu 10.10 Release: 10.10 version: modemmanager: Installiert: 0.4+git.20100809t153145.be28089-0ubuntu1 Kandidat: 0.4+git.20100809t153145.be28089-0ubuntu1 Versionstabelle: *** 0.4+git.20100809t153145.be28089-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status In Ubuntu 10.04 the modemmanager (network-manager-applet in Gnome) didn't created a high cpu-temperature. With Ubuntu 10.10 i can see how the cpu temperature is rising. In 5 min, when connected, it is rising from 55°C to 74°C and if not connected it is falling in the same time from 74°C back to 55°C. I tried to look with "top" if a process could cause this, but the cpu use is the whole time only at max. 5%.
