I can not trigger this bug on my PowerBook 5,6. I get the same "libGL error: failed to load driver: r300"-errors, but the mpeg2 video I tested is played with default settings (video output set so automatic).

On my PowerBook 5,6 directfb shows no picture and gles1 shows a broken picture.
