This is not new ! There were such people in the past also , as described in Valmiki Ramayan! Ravana was shaken up after the victorious visit of Hanuman to Sri Lanka! He however convened a cabinet meeting to discuss about the next step by them! Right ar the beginning however, he blurted. out that he has no fears about puny mortals and forest dwelling monkeys and then solicited frank opinions from his Chelaas! Having got the clue as what their leader is thinking , all te Chelaas came out to toe the line! The commander in Chief , Pruhastha first spoke. " I was a bit easy when Hanuman came here! Otherwise I would have crushed in my palm itself! They would be now trembilng after knowing our might!" Then Kumbakarna spoke, half admonishing Ravana for not having consulted him before abducting Seetha , and then continued, "but dont worry! I will have a feast of all the Vaanraas and will swallow Ram and Lakshman totally!" Then one Vidhyouth Jihwa got up and licking his lips , said, " All of you dont worry! Be here happily drinking Vaaruni (liquour) , and with the permission of Maharaja, I will go alone to the north side of the ocean and kill all the Vaanaraas and also Rama and Lakshmana and come back and give the happy news to you all!" Then one another bloke called Maha Paarswa, came close to Ravana and told into his ears, " Maharaja ! Why dint yiu forcefully rape Seetha and make her useless to any body?!" For this Ravana replied in low voice, "Hey! I can not do that , because of a Brahma shapa on me that if I do that, my heads will instantaneously shatter inti pieces! That is why I am hesitating! I have done such things in the past before Brahma Shaapa!" Are the present day polticians any different?!
