Refill really means not the original but so called original being poured @ refilled once again and again. Almost all the products of today have become refills. However refilling is a new pack enhancing the cost; refill pack is unsafe; but people are carried away by our newness theory whether useful or useless. The refilling of print cartridges has become a fashion unaware that it wont work and will spoil the printer. Liquid refilling packs were to be reduced by i mill the profit would increase to the owner by 10% and people will not know the loss. The whole lot is in normal gunny or plastic bags which lack hygiene. Refill styles arre followed as marketing only in the developing and small nations. KR IRS 91024

Before going to write about refill, I thought of taking the meanings of refill by Google search. In English: to fill again : replenish. intransitive verb. : to become filled again. refillable. Again nothing serious in this posting Gopalakrishnan 9-10-2024 1 Refill booking of LPG gas I took the Google search meaning for the reason, in LPG booking we get a new cylinder and not bringing and equipment with LPG and transferring gas in our premises like filling of Gas in Air conditioner compressor unit. First meaning given by Google search –replenish gave me the answer. 2. Refill from stationary shops After the ball point pens have become very common in 1962’s refills also appeared. Initially the refill cost was very less comparing to pen cost. Though refills still available they cost 90% of the cost of new pen. So still ball point pen refills are not vanished in India. 3. Refill packs of Horlicks etc. Again a Google search gave me the answer- Refills for Horlicks and such drinks came in 2016 end. The bottles are priced more high tempting buyers to purchase refill packs and transfer contents to Horlicks bottle. Similar for such products like boost, viva etc, also. Instant coffee powder came in large tins during 1970’s. Now most items similar come in refill pack and bottles are either made of glass or quality bottles and instant coffee powder is smaller in size. From the beginning tea came in packets and either we used keeping in the packets or convenient tins orbottles, Detergent powders and liquids. They came initially in plastic bottles and later in good cartons. Containers came FREE initially. They were transferred to containers. Still I am not sure why the detergent liquid cost more than powder, however many advertisement come- “detergent liquid for the cost of powder” Quality of plastic The best quality plastic bottles in attractive shade is made out by most companies, only people give them to scrap merchants when there is no SPACE to keep the containers. Practically no difference felt between different detergents. The refill packs are such thick plastic packs, and pack mouth made in such a manner like that of a plastic bottle with narrow mouth with screwing cap. Even without transferring to bottle they can be used keeping them as it is. Oils and bottles Whereas some companies supply oil is in plastic packs and we have to transfer them to good bottles , some companies supply oils in plastic bottles. Quality plastic is used to prepare these bottles. Vessels cleaning detergents These solid detergent packs are also coming either in plastic containers or with paper packs. Paper packs are also to be transferred to plastic containers. Though I mentioned a few items only here, there are many more items comes as refills and transfer contents to bottles. -- To go to your groups page on the web, login to your gmail account and then click on https://groups.google.com/ --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iyer123" group.
