India is insisting for Disengagement at the other 2 places as well, viz Depsong and Demchok; but Cheenes say they’ve been there since Congress-UPA era and nobody objected. My guess is complete disengagement and normalisation at borders maybe announced a day before the summit between PM Modi & President Xi-Jinping at Kazan (Russia) from 22-24 October, 2024. It would be fantastic to see the bonhomie & energy in the coming BRICS summit, sending sever colics to American Dems and their Deep State; when they would see Putin-Jinping-Modi smiling in the same frame.
