Well, the amendment to the Wakf Board Act 2013 by the UPA Govt states: Whichever land is claimed by the Waqf Board should be published in a gazette by the states and these claims cannot be challenged in any court of Law after one year but the Waqf Tribunal will be the *final authority. No appeals.*
This being the case until the present Bill is enacted as a Law, you are at their mercy. They can claim anything as their property. *I will send an interesting talk of less than 18 minutes or so that was published today in u tube. You can listen to it to know a real case in T N where the waqf claimed an entire village as their property - this came to light when a villager tried to sell his land to repay the loans he had taken for the marriage of his daughter.
