hi. i don't code or use pr myself, so i'm a poor judge of that part of your diff. i didn;t hear any feedback about a desire to add it, so i decided to fix the man page with the view that it'd be trivial to undo that part if at some stage we want pr to have the -p option. perhaps other people will comment on those aspects. jmc
