since quite a while, I can't do CVS pserver operations anymore (at
least half a year, but since I had no need to actually do anything
to the sources, I never bothered enough to send mail).
I have also had the same problem, for quite some time, and reported it to this list (another person also did, I think).
I asked Hannes Gredler privately, he says "works for me", but it doesn't work for me. I tried 4 different machines (Linux, NetBSD, SCO, some with IPv4+IPv6, some with only IPv4) but the result is always

Perhaps those who actually have it working for them could provide the environment where it works (CVSROOT environment setting, cvs --version output, IP address, etc.)?
