If it was up to me, I'd switch the sentence around: Необходимо пройти аутентификацию для управления виртуальными машинами и контейнерами. I also wouldn't want to see foreign bored terms like "менеджер" and "юнит" used in translation and instead use e.g. "управляющий" and "единица". But I'm not a sysadmin in a Russian speaking environment, so I cannot judge whether the foreign terms are actually already wide-spread in IT context and became de-facto terms. -- Regards, Dimitri.
