Your httpd.conf. There's no special configuration necessary outside of
the normal additions for any HTTPS site. There are lots of sites and
documentation to help you. I have found
http://slacksite.com/apache/certificate.html to be useful myself.

Yes, since you're just affecting the communication between the web
server and the client.
