The problem will go away for the user if we remove their .pref file, but invariably pops up again in the future.
Can you post one of these corrupted pref files? Are your users logging out properly or are they just closing the browser or going to other websites? Are multiple users logging in from the same workstation? What is your hardware setup like? (storage, OS, filesystem, free disk space, etc).
also, include list of plugins, as it is probably caused by one of them.
