I'm having a lot of trouble trying to install BayesSpam in Squirrelmail 1.2.11. I keep getting the error "BayesSpam improperly configured. Check DB Information." and I seem to be unable to get by it.
I have config.php set up properly (as far as I can tell), and I even modified setup.php to echo the db url. Unfortunately the error above is *all* I get, so I can't tell how or why the connect is failed. I have verified that I am able to connect to the database at the command-line (not with PHP) using all of the info I put in config.php. I even enabled remote connections for this user just in case. (And verified that *that* works, too.) The database tables are installed. As far as I know I performed every step, but BayesSpam just can't connect to the DB. What can I do to figure out what's failing? I'm using: RedHat 9.0 SquirrelMail 1.2.11 (RedHat provided) BayesSpam 3.1.1 PHP 4.2.2 PEAR-DB 1.4.0 MySQL 3.23.56 Thanks, roger ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
