I do not really know where to start. It works for me using IIS5 on Win2K Pro, SM1.4.1 and 1.4.0, PHP4.3.2 and Mercury32. I have tested this on local and remote servers (by this I mean Mercury and IIS on the same machine (local) or separate machines (remote)). The OP in the ng is using SquirrelMail 1.4.0, Apache 2.0, PHP 4.3 and Mercury32 on Win2K on separate/remote servers. The OP did have problems getting it to work but am unsure what the problem was in the end, though I think possibly he never had MercuryW loaded or TCP port 106 was blocked to SM on the Mercury server machine. Are you sure you have MewrcuryW loaded? If separate machines, is TCP popt 106 open on the Mercury machine to SM? Is 'Change Password' available in your options page? If so, what errors do you get? Sorry apart from the above I am unsure. It really was easy to get working for me. -- thx Paj ---------------------- >>>> Unlike some IMAP servers Mercury32 does not require either poppassd >>>> or courierpassd (Mercury has its own equivalent). >>>> Mercury32 has an installable Protocol Module called: MercuryW >>>> (MercuryW PopPass password change server). >>>> >>>> To get the change_pass plugin working on Mercury32: >>>> >>>> * Ensure the MercuryW protocol module is running in Mercury32. >>>> * Download the latest version of change_pass (currently 2.1-1.4.x). * >>>> Unzip to your plugins folder. >>>> * Delete the following change_pass subfolders (Optional): >>>> poppass-bsd, poppassd-1.8.2 and courierpassd-0.20 >>>> * Run conf.pl and install the change_pass plugin. >>>> * If the Mercury32 server is on a different physical machine to the >>>> Squirrelmail one then you will need to ensure that the SM server is >>>> allowed access to TCP Port 106 on the Mercury32 server. >>>> * Log on to your SM session and use the plugin :) ---------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Parasoft Error proof Web apps, automate testing & more.
