I am glad I amy have been some help. It is good to give something back to
a community that has helped me so much with my install.

I am posting this again to confirm the poster in the ng
(comp.mail.pegasus-mail.ms-windows) has followed the guide (quoted below)
and now has change_pass working.

It would be brilliant if this could be added to information on the plugin
page. This may help those who may think there is no solution for Merury32
and do not subscribe to the list or know about the archives. I know that I
first of all assumed there was no solution and was using a perl script
outside of SM to change my Mercury password (though only for a few days as
I thought this was not a good solution). Unless of course a "comprehensive
change password system" is going to be released sometime soon :)
