Morning All,

I installed SM 1.4.0 on a RH 7.2 server yesterday. The server is running
Postfix 1.1.4 and Courier-IMAP 1.4.3.

The user folders are based on the Maildir structure, e.g. in my home
directory:

/home/pnn/Maildir/cur
/home/pnn/Maildir/new
/home/pnn/Maildir/tmp
/home/pnn/Maildir/.Lists_News.CNN
/home/pnn/Maildir/.Lists_News.enlight
/home/pnn/Maildir/.Lists_News.Evolution
/home/pnn/Maildir/.Lists_News.flight
/home/pnn/Maildir/.Lists_News.Register
/home/pnn/Maildir/.Lists_News.SM

and so on.

When I first logged into SM I got an error in the folder tree, so I went
and changed the Special Folder Options from mail/ to Maildir/ under
Folder Prefs. This allowed me to see my Inbox.

The problem is that it does not show me any other folders. When I go to
the Folders page, I get errors like 'No folders found' under Rename and
Delete.

I read through the list archives and found some references to similar
problems, so I tried the following solutions:

1. I ran the conf.pl script and set my IMAP server to courier using the
Default options. No change.

2. I edited config.php and changed default_folder_prefix to blank and
the optional_delimiter to '.'. No change

3. I tried setting the delimiter to auto. No change.

The upshot is that everything is set up, my LDAP stuff working perfectly
etc. but I only have an Inbox, no other folders.

The server works perfectly under all the other Mail clients I have
tried, incl. Evolution, Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Kmail,
Mozilla - you name it it works, and all the sub-folders are visible.

I thought that maybe it was a subscription issue, but I'm not given the
option subscribe, only 'No folders were found to subscribe to!'.

Any ideas?

TIA

Pierre
