ah yes, compose in new window. i didn't test it in that context, and am not really around my computer for the next two days, but will get to it ASAP after that. if you do all your composing in the same window, is it well behaved? i am also noticing a significant slow-down due to the encryption of cookies while typing messages on slower machines. i can type thru it, but it's a tad annoying, so i'll try to see what can be done about this too.
