I've figured out that my problems have nothing to do with my configuration, I just had a permissions problem!

Thanks for being here, until next time...

Rob

Hello;

Brand new to squirrelmail, installed it last night using the rpm found on the download page. I'm trying to get this working this morning, and realize I have a "different" mail setup than squirrelmail expects by default.

OS: YellowDogLinux 2.2
IMAP: Courier IMAP
POP: Courier IMAP
Mail server: Postfix (if that matters)
User authentication: MYSQL in a virtual domain environment

So I have a system where the user records are all stored in a MySQL table, and do not exist in the linux users table. A typical login for mail would be "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" with his password.

How do I make this work in Squirrelmail? I suspect that there will be plugins to install; I saw that there is a pop plugin for virtual domains, not sure if this is right for me.

TIA

Rob
