Maybe I miss-phrased it, but that is what I meant ;) > As long as SquirrelMail can issue RFC 1730/2060 compliant commands > and get RFC 1730/2060 compliant responses, it doesn't care about > anything else. Yes, SquirrelMail works as designed ;) The feature I think that was requested (as has been a couple of times) is a direct mail file read instead of jumping through the IMAP server to get to it... ie: SM --> Mail File instead of: SM --> IMAP --> Mail File This is how OpenWebMail does it, and is the 'feature' that was requested. OpenWebMail itself doesn't appear to use IMAP, but uses direct mail store access, which is what is allowing them to alter where the mail is being read from. Working with the basic principle on where DEVEL is heading, it should be possible to develop a backend (maybe in the near future) that can do direct mail store access. -- Jonathan Angliss ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: See the NEW Palm Tungsten T handheld.
