Thanks Jan, you helped me a great deal with such estimate! Your estimate does seem in line with what one of the freelancers quoted. Basically i explained to him something similar to what i mention above and he mentioned it seemed quite straight forward. He said that for the server set up, it would take him about 2-3 hours and for the rest, it would take him 10-15 hours ... to have it operative ... which is much in line to what you say.
The estimate of the second freelancer, who i asked also for a minimum set up, estimated this at about 80 hours... which is x 4 times... so i was wondering which one of the two seemed more correct. I need a set up that does fast searches, but as said, it needs to look only in one table and two fields from that table.
