Impossible to say from the info provided. The managed schema is required for schemaless mode, but *all* example configurations shipping with version 5.5 or newer are using the managed schema, even those that are not schemaless. If you're using the classic schema factory, and a file name schema.xml, then you can be sure that schemaless is either not present or that it will not function properly. Thanks, Shawn
