I've taken a look at the sources and I think a can strip it down to
about 5 to 10 pages of code without a major rewrite.
If this is acceptable, I'd be happy to spend my time.

I get the following error when i try to compile Win on my Solaris x86 machine:

I downloaded and installed Virtual Salior a game developed for MS
Windows to run under WINE. I'm using the latest version to come from
Mandriva's unstable development mirror 20050524.
Virtual Salior crashes with the

waveIn interfaces will be implemented using the driver's DirectSound
interfaces.
The driver is very pre-alpha and development is admittedly very slow.
