or message is simply wrong, cause the
revision has already been committed into the repository...and could be
used and has been use for an update...

have you given the --sync-username and --sync-password instead ? Cause
--username and --password are used for authentication against the local
repository and not for authentication against the remote repository ?

SVN supports multiple projects into a single installation etc.
