Ok - I added --enable-debug to the Macports configure command which is now:
./configure --prefix=/opt/local
--with-berkeley-db=:/opt/local/include/db46:/opt/local/lib/db46:db-4.6
--with-apr=/opt/local/bin/apr-1-config
--with-apr-util=/opt/local/bin/apu-1-config --without-apxs
--mandir=\${prefi
Thanks for trying to reproduce the problem. Sorry, we do not have the knowledge
to change the makefiles in the way proposed.
And, yes, we found a solution to our problem: Just replaced JavaHL by the
SVNKit Adapter. Works like a charm...

I just built our 1.8.x release branch (that's 1.8.10 plus some minor
changes) on Yosemite, with XCode 6.1, and the J
