if one were to use a javahl built on a previous mac os x release with Macports, 
it would probably still work (since Apple does a fairly good job with binary 
compatibility between releases), but Macports doesn't really support this (and 
this doesn't help anyone with a new 10.10 install that wants to build/install 
this).
