The bug I reported earlier (#704810), marked as duplicate by Charlie is
of a higher importance: dataloss!!!
The only workaround is to only trust and use native .abw or MS .doc
converter. MS Office docs created with Abiword are fully compatible with
OOo.

The problem just reoccurred again. Am able to view a portion of the
buddy list but the program is not responding. E.g when someone tries to
chat me, the windows appears but its inactive. You cant interact, am
forced to shut down the application.

Hi,
I've tested this bug (same laptop) using the vanilla 2.6.27-rc7 kernel on Hardy.
Hibernating from gnome still doesn't work. Same issues, on reboot, the system
boots normally, instead of resuming.
Hibernating from enlightenment doesn't shutdown the laptop, but immediately
resumes the session.

I found out what causes it.
There is a problem with the gvfs and/or gvfs-backends package in hardy-
updates (0.2.4). Once these are upgraded, nautilus loses its knowledge
of anything other than file://

With the upgrade to hardy (and the new 2.6.24 kernel), the cpu frequency
switching started misbehaving quite badly. Regardless of the system
load, the "scaling_max_freq" value will suddently, but quickl

Hi,
The system just failed to fully suspend, and had to be turned off by
using the power button. The suspend started nicely, X wasn't visible,
only a single message about the anachron deamon being stopped. And it
just stayed like that for 5 minutes.
