I tried using the conf file and getting connection to work using wpa-supplicant.
For some reason, I am failing to get it working.
I am using Intel 4695 AGN Wireless card.
If you are using the same wireless card, would it be possible for u to

I checked out the latest package and updated the packages, but that didnt help.
Is there any way, I could use the older package (0.6.x) that was used in ubuntu
hardy 8.04 ?

I am a complete noob when it comes to networking.
I just upgraded to 8.10 from 8.04 and I can not connect to WPA2 on my
university's network anymore. Before (on 8.04) it used to work seamlessly.
Just in case other ppl are looking ... this is the WPA2 network of UIUC
