Hi,
I am a complete noob when it comes to networking.
I just upgraded to 8.10 from 8.04 and I can not connect to WPA2 on my
university's network anymore. Before (on 8.04) it used to work seamlessly.
Just in case other ppl are looking ... this is the WPA2 network of UIUC
(University of Ilinois, urbana-champaign).

The wireless card that I am using is: Intel 4965AGN on a thinkpad T61.
As I said before, I do not know much about networking, so you would have to
tell me what all details you would like to know from my side.

The config for Vista as posted on the university website are:
Network name: UIwpa2
Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
Encryption type: AES
Don't check "Connect even if the network is not broadcasting"
Choose a network authentication method: Protected EAP (PEAP)
Uncheck Cache user information for subsequent connections to the network.
In the Protected EAP Properties window, enter the following information:
Check "Validate server certificate"
Check "Connect to these servers"
In the servers text box, enter the following (without spaces):
neauth1.cites.uiuc.edu;neauth2.cites.uiuc.edu
Trusted Root Certification Authorities: Check "Thawte Premium Server CA"
Check "Do not prompt user to authorize new servers or trusted certificate
authorities"
Authentication method: Secured password (EAP-MSCHAPv2)
Check "Enable fast reconnect"
Don't check "Enable quarantine checks"
Don't check "Disconnect if server does not present cryptobinding TLV

thanks,
Rahul
