I'm running Jaunty on Dell XPS M1330 and I tried to use HDMI on TV LCD.
Video part works fine (nvidia) but I have not found a way to get a
working sound directly from tv (currently I can listen to sound only via
laptop speakers).

It was very simple:
in /usr/lib/xorg/modules/ there was a link "libglx.so" to a not existent
old version file. Removing this link, xorg now loads correctly

Same problem here. It's a Gnome problem at start (after login). I have
installed XFCE (it works) but I would like get a working Gnome again. Is
there a way to fix this problem at start or is it just a problem for new
Gnome upgrading (maybe it's partial now)?

it's installed and mixer is to the max. The strange thing is that mixers
return just "Master" and "PCM" volume. Before kernel update they return
more "volumes-voice".

I have installed kernel 2.6.22-10-generic and 2.6.22-11-generic (with
all relatives modules restricted etc. for both kernels) but nvidia
driver works just for 2.6.22-10-generic. With 2.6.22-11-gene
