I asked about this bug in the #gnome irc channel. Before gnome 2.22 the
bug was also in the clearlooks metacity theme. Some months ago it was
fixed. I thought, maybe somebody oft the gnome-devs knows what is the
problem. I got 1 interesting answer:

Hello!
I installed yesterday the new beta-version of skype 2. It works good,
but when I have start Skype, my Firefox 3 or Firefox 2 flash videos (for
example youtube-videos) doesn't work anymore. The video begin without
sound and stop after 1 or 2 seconds.
Some other people
It's not a firefox bug, because the bug is also in evolution. The icon
of the network-manager shows me that I'm not connected, but I am. I'm
using hardy.

Hi!
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy with Gnome.
Same mistake but with the German language. The tooltips on maximize,
minimize and close are english.
BUT: If i DON'T use Compiz, the translation will displayed correctly. I
think it's an error in Compiz.

In gutsy the resolution of the live-cd worked. In hardy I must use the
xorg-tool to adjust the resolution to 1280x1024
