I would disagree with the view that Europe is far ahead of the US when
it comes to free software. European governments dont know about or care
about Ubuntu or GNU/linux in general. I live in Ireland and we cant
even get ubuntu from dell. I think that service is only available in the
UK and the US

Hi pedro, I am on karmic alpha 1. This crash doesnt seem to set off

I can reproduce it. If I plug my IPod into my ubuntu 9.04 system all updates
installed the tracker crashes with the same crash avcodec.
This particular crash happened when rhythmbox tried playing a mp4 video. I dont
have any small videos as example but its a regular mp4 standard video I only

Got this bug. I think it was just a one off. It was caused in my machine
I think because the usb wasnt inserted correctly when I was downloading
to the usb device. When I pushed the usb in fully the program crashed.
