I don't know if it is Gnome or Ubuntu but the fact is that “Gnome color
Chooser” doesn't work anymore. You can install it normally from official
repository but the settings in it have no impact anymore.

It is not a linux bug but it's a common laptops issue.

i have asus k570ud laptop and xubuntu 19.10 after i dist-upgrade to
kernel 5.3.0-46 my laptop has annoying noise sound from inside it (not
speaker) but there isn't noise when i boot it with kernel 5.3.0-45 or
pre versions. this sound also there in (windows 10). but it wasn't i
its also there in xubuntu 20.04 with kernel 5.4.0.26

im using an emachine El1352 with a nvidia gforce 6150se and its effect
me also. with or with out additional drivers i cant use unity 3D. its
just a black screen. im using 2D now and the file is attached. i think
its all about the new nvidia driver coz in the details part of the
system there no info
I realized its not the ubuntu problem or our problem. its the new drivers
problem. when i was using the last version of linux few days ago after
upgrading to the new nvidia driver i faced the same problem and i was not able
to use the unity 3D or Gnome desktop but after downgrade to the last ver
for some people downgrading to 295.33 worked but you should take note
that you have to do it in virtual terminal and you have to stop lightdm
because if you dont NVidia installer will not run, because there's an
active X session and after finishing the installation you might get a
black screen. jus
bye the way i think canonical and nVidia have to work on this problem
and solve it ASAP coz its affected bunch of users and graphic cards
problems are sucks. i believe all of us decided to go back to windows
because of this problem but keep on telling our self "wait... lets try
few more solutions"
maybe ill just move to linux mint coz its working good and fast. this
problem is getting bigger and bigger. seems its not gonna be a good LTS.
beside that i love gnome. all of these problems are coming from unity
and compbiz.

Managed to fix the issue by deleting the ~/.openoffice folder under my
login session. Unfortunately this folder wasn't retained to analyse
further. My only guess is that this computer upgraded from 10.04 to
10.10, and perhaps the update to OpenOffice may had some issues around
this.

Hi. I've tried the steps of installing Ubuntu 10.04 on a VM (VirtualBox)
and ran the latest update against 10.04. I tested OpenOffice Draw and
worked fine.
Then I upgraded to 10.10, ran the test again and worked fine.

This crash is not associated with any type of Draw file. In fact, I
recall creating a blank Draw instance and attempted to change the
orientation of the page. At that point the whole GNOME session crashes.
