1. Take a large postgres DB (~200GiB here),
I also have this issue on my NP900X3C-A01BE.
I have found that it might have something todo with "lightdm" as I can
get the login screen to popup when I go to tty and use the command 'sudo
service lightdm restart'. Sometimes I get an internal error message that
has something todo with apportcheckr

I just wonder that the back button issue has been addressed only three
times within this discussion. Today I counted how many times the sidebar
stepped on my nerves by appearing and blocking the back button of my web
browser and the total number so far is 43.
I think, the main problem is just that

Same here on Acer Aspire 7540G (6Gb ram) with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD
4500 Series. With no applications running the interface feels fine, as
soon as i open a windows (terminal window for example) it becomes
extremely sluggish. Mouse pointer hangs a couple of times moving over

Ok, 10.10 is just released and I downloaded it. I tried installing it
with / on btrfs and after 5 hours the install was at 75%. This is on a
AMD Turion II Dual Core M500 with 6 GB. My / was 550 GB.
It's a shame this issue wasn't resolved before releasing Maverick and
this will hurt BTRFS adoption

Ok i have Lucid 10.04 and when i mount a sshfs through fstab:

but when i want to umount i get :

Will new media be available w/ this fix in place?
I ask because running "dkms status" or any dkms command presently
triggers this bug for me, and the only way forward I can see to being
able to fix that system is new media w/ a patched kernel.

I Ctrl-F'ed for "snap" with no result so I assume it has not been mentioned:
Running Ubuntu 21.04, I had Thunderbird with this bug. Removing it and
installing it with snap fixed the issue.

I got a similiar model, the ASUS ROG GL552VW, and I have exactly the
same problem. The touchpad does not work when I boot Xubuntu, but my
gaming mouse that I got with this laptop does seem to work.

I've managed to reproduce the problem. It seems to occur only when the
Mutiny layout is selected and then, without changing any of the dock
settings (e.g. pinning or unpinning apps), the layout is changed and the
dock added to another panel. The settings from Mutiny are not ca
