For what it's worth, I have the same key repeat problem as
Franzmaximilian. However, I just chalked it up to the usb bluetooth
receiver losing sync with the keyboard.
I don't know what causes the key repeat, but I can reliably reproduce
the 'lost' modifier keys by holding ctrl and moving the mous
sorry about that, mis-clicked on the 'this needs fixing here' button.

I can reproduce this: a non-overclocked Core 2 Duo Quad Q8600 running
Hardy has two speeds available: 1.66 GHz and 2.39GHz. The actual speed
of 3.01 or 3.5 GHz can only be obtained by disabling frequency scaling
in the BIOS settings.

When I say that pidgin uses 100% cpu all the time I mean that something
causes it to use 100% and from them on it uses 100% cpu. However if I
shut pidgin down (it does respond quite promptly to SIGTERM) and then
restart it then it will not use 100% cpu for a while. However, this does

as the bootable device I get "Invalid or damaged Bootable partition" (I

I tried the updated radeonhd package - no luck.
On the first go around, glxinfo reported no direct rendering.
I upgraded to the latest libdrm from xorg-edgers
(libdrm_2.4.0~git20080926.2db8e0c8) and set Option DRI in my xorg.conf.
Then direct rendering was reported as working by glxinfo.

As a workaround for hardy users, you can just manually download and use
libnspr4-dev from intrepid:

As far as retaining a trademark, I believe the requirement is that it
not fall into common use, IE 'Kleenex', etc. (Hence Kleenex-Brand
tissues), or 'Google' (as a verb), and that the company assert dominance
over the name (hence the previous scandal over not being allowed to use
the name Google as

I also have this problem, for me it appears to occur during the
installation of EITHER 'emacs22-gtk' or 'emacs22-nox'.
I get an identical error apart from the different package names and a
different temp file.
I am attaching one of the temporary files I recieved with this error.
