Hi all, my test: copy file from Ubuntu to WinXP and viceversa. File is
Ubuntu ISO 733 mb. My network is a wi-fi with about 20 MB transmission
speed from PC to router and 100 MB transmission from router to Ubuntu
Server. This is my modinfo cifs:

I can confirm this bug. new installation of Ubuntu on hp 11.04 made
today. Updated kernel to version 2.6.38-11 and installed Unity 2d. After
all, the applet does not work. I must kill the process whenever i need

upgrade to maverick. Everything works except the internal mic.

additional information about the bug. I've been using a new laptop for
one month in which I installed ubuntu 10.10 (64bit), and xpad works
fine.

I found a problem using xpad (installed version is 4.0-5ubuntu1).
Usually when I launched xpad, an icon on the notification area appeared.
