Mouse offset problem when using a WINE app
Well I found an answer, well at least it works for Starcraft2, maybe it
will work for other Wine apps. Right click on the desktop and select:
Change Desktop Background, then select the Visual Effects tab, then
select None.
That turns off visual effects (like Compiz) and makes the mouse pointer
off

I am not able to play MKV files under Mythbuntu in Lucid. The error I

I am also not able to play video files in VLC. I get the same error.
I searched but it looks like people getting this error were trying to
play live tv

Guys, none of the above solutions worked for me, however, Ramwi at the
ubuntu forums came up with one that was simple and worked.
When launching TILP2, in a terminal window type:
sudo tilp --calc=ti89t --cable=DirectLink
