Using Ubuntu 8.0.4.1 dragging images, text files, even html opens them
in Gnumeric. Dragging an xls file didnt work though, I got an error
message Unrecoqnised file format. Oddly, if I try and open a normal .xls
file in this std version of gnumeric, I got the same err

I'm running the latest stable, Ubuntu 9.04. I installed the package
freeradius and freeradius-mysql, along with its dependencies.
It took me 8 hours to figure out why freeradius was not working! I kept getting

A workaround for the above problem was to install gnumeric-gtk which

Ubuntu is trapping the Ctrl-Alt_delete combination andc sending me to a
screen allowing me to log out, reboot, shutdown, instead of passing this
through VNC to my windows box there. I need to pass Ctrl-Alt-Del through

I worked around this by remapping Ctrl-Alt-Del in Ubuntu by using
System-Preferences-> Keyboard Shortcuts- then disabling the entry for
Ctrl-Alt-Delete
But this wouldn't necessarily be obvious to a newbie, and does remove an
important part of a std Linux OS.

I can confirm the bug also. I tried with rm

Manager and WICD if you select a static IP. The fault would seem to be

The issue is still occuring for me as well.
Running Linux Mint 19.2 with the Vivaldi browser as standard, clicking the

I've started bluetoothd with the debug option. Here's what happens when
trying to pair with a bluetooth mouse:

I have the same or similar issue:
If I set up to "Do nothing" in Power settings when I close the lid of
the laptop it actually locks the screen and then I cannot use the
hardware knob of my external USB DAC to increase or decrease the volume.
When I say "do nothing" it ignores the request by lock
I'm affected too. Basically I'm trying to use physical volume knob of external
USB DAC to manipulate the volume of the sound.
But since the screen is locked the knob is not working.. till I unlock the
screen.
The things become even more frustrating when I use the Power settings
and set "Do nothi

I have a similar problem. For me the autoscrolling function is only *not*
working when I use the ubuntu theme.
When I use a different theme, like the Planet GNOME theme, autoscrolling works
just fine.
