Directly after starting Gnumeric, the File menu options "Neu" (new) and
"Öffnen" (open) are not available. What is available, though, are save
and save-as. The only way to open a spreadsheet is by double-clicking or
file history.
Expected behaviour: Menu items "new" and "open
it seems that libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio is not uninstalled when
pulseaudio is, therefore any SDL apps seem to experience sounds breakage
if they aren't smart enough to figure out that pulseaudio isn't actually

I recently upgraded from gutsy gibbon to hardy heron. Ever since I
upgraged when I clicked on the update icon it would bring the upgrade
manger up and I see the updates. When I clicked to install updates it
would lock up and sit there and you could not close it.

This hasn't happened to me ever before I upgraded to Hardy. Since then,
I got this problem a couple times.
The funny thing is, diagnosing the problem was next to impossible
because also the keyboard started to behave strangely, taking very long
to accept input (in the order of seconds) and repeati
Funnily, the same happened to me again. Without any manipulation of the
machine at all.
This time I was able to rmmod a couple of modules. I'd say the culprit
is one of usbcore, appletouch, usbhid, ohci_hcd and ehic_hcd. After
removing these modules and re-loading them, the touchpad worked again.
To me, the 2.6.24-16-powerpc was just as bad as the -17 but I downgraded
to 2.6.22-14-powerpc and now suspend2ram works just fine. Hibernation
sadly doen't work, though.
So with no changes other then the kernel and related modules, this seems
like a kernel problem.

I just tried setting a default already present in the
/etc/firefox/pref/firefox.js file from 'false' to 'true' - and it has no
effect on the configuration when restarting FF3 and peeking at the value
in about:config.

This issue seems to be resolved for 8.04.1, but now the "Current Window"
option is broken - no matter what you choose, it grabs the whole
desktop. BUT, the screenshot window isn't in there, so that's good.
I'm using this under LTSP, not sure if that makes a difference. Probably
shouldn't.

Though this was a fairly important bug in TCM and Pete provided a patch,
this report is almost 2 years old, I doesn't seem to be effecting people
much, and TCM has been replaced with iTalic. I don't see any resources
to get this fix in so I'm going to close it as Won't Fix.

management tool and nobody is working on TCM anymore I'm going to mark

As this is a pretty old bug (almost 2 years now), thin-client-manager
has been replaced by iTalic for thin client management, and there aren't
any people working on TCM I'm going to mark this bug as Won't Fix. If
people are still having frequent crashes like this with TCM we can try
to reopen this
