My personal preference goes to FreeSans and FreeSerif instead of the
Nimbus fonts. So, after some searching here and there, I've found that
if I add/edit a file in /etc/fonts/local.
I'm running Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex after installing with Wubi. I'm running
array.org's kernel (2.6.27-8-eeepc) on a EeePC 1000H, because almost all
features are working "out-of-the-box" (gotta love this expression), such
as toggling wireless, card reader, camera, etc.. I couldn't get their

I have the same problem with openoffice.org 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3.1. I'm
running Ubuntu Jaunty, 2.6.28-12-netbook-eeepc kernel on a Eee PC
(1000H), which is a i386.
After I removed openoffice.org-gtk (which also removed openoffice.org-
gnome) the problem disappeared. Reinstalling the gtk package restor

OpenJDK, on an Asus EeePC 1000H.
I happened to click Window -> Preferences -> OK on eclipse, and it produced

I see network activity in the Resources tab, but the small docked window
in the tray bar shows no activity.

Running apport-retrace exits with an UnicodeEncodeError simply by running from
the console (see bug #905826 for example) on Ubuntu Lucid, amd64.
The line is from method exit() from class OptionParser on file optparse.py.

Can be solved by editing method exit() in class OptionParser of file
/usr/lib/python2.6/optparse.py so that the line
sys.stderr.write(msg)
reads instead, for example:
sys.stderr.write(msg.encode('utf-8'))
This workaround quenches the error in apport-retrace.

Hi logan, I confirm that this bug persists in python-lazr.delegates. If this
package is installed in Lucid (amd64), it breaks apport-bug.
I just did a rehearsal and installed python-lazr.delegates and attempted to run
apport-bug.

In a virtual machine (VirtualBox) I have a Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit instance,
which has gnome-terminal 2.29.6-0ubuntu5 . It still has the "Default
size" options in the "Profiles" dialog ("General" pane), and I can
confirm that that version does retain that option.
